There is no airport on the island of St. John. Visitors fly into the Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas and continue to St. John by quick, conveniently scheduled ferry service.
Upon your arrival at the airport in St. Thomas, collect your luggage and proceed outside of the airport. There will be taxis readily available to take you to the ferry. Passenger ferries to St. John depart St. Thomas from Red Hook and from Charlotte Amalie. We recommend taking the Red Hook ferry for the 20-minute trip as it operates most frequently.

When purchasing your tickets at the ferry dock, specify that you are traveling to St. John. There is only one ferry dock on St. John, which is called Cruz Bay.
If you will be renting a car in St. Thomas, car barge service is available between Red Hook in St. Thomas and Cruz Bay, St. John.
